Terms of Service

Steadmind is a mobile application published by SASU Norndis (SIREN 102 057 957), registered at 60 Rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France.

Steadmind is a self-help tool for people experiencing generalized anxiety. It is NOT a medical device, does NOT provide medical diagnoses, and does NOT replace professional mental health care.

By creating an account or using Steadmind, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Steadmind. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted
• You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account

Steadmind offers two tiers:

• Free: life timeline building, core belief identification, educational articles, and community access
• Steadmind+: monthly ($14.99/mo or 14.90€/mo) or annual ($99/yr or 99€/yr) subscription for full access including detailed belief analysis, personalized exposure program, AI companion chat, progress tracking, and post-exposure feedback

Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region. All prices include applicable taxes. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe (web) or via the App Store / Google Play (in-app)
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period
• For web purchases via Stripe: refund requests can be made within 14 days of purchase by contacting contact@steadmind.app
• For in-app purchases: refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Misrepresent yourself in community features
• Post content in the community that is hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit

Steadmind uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to generate insights, challenges, and conversational responses. This content is:

• Generated automatically and may not always be accurate or appropriate
• NOT medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Provided for self-reflection and educational purposes only

If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline (988 in the US, 3114 in France).

All content, design, code, and branding of Steadmind are owned by SASU Norndis. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the application without prior written consent.

Content you create (timeline events, chat messages, notes) remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Steadmind is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of Steadmind after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
